The deadline for California Journalist of the Year entries is: February 9, 2015.

The highest scoring portfolios from JEANC advisers’ students will also be considered for JEANC’s Arnetta Garcin Memorial Scholarship.
- First place = $500 + a travel stipend to attend the spring national convention
- Second place = $300
- Third place = $200
