Asian American Journalists Association J-Camp

At Temple University School of Media and Communication in Philadelphia

California Scholastic Press Association Journalism Workshop

At Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Dates: July 10-22

Deadline: April 16

Columbia Scholastic Press Association Summer Journalism Workshop

At Columbia University in New York City

Dates: June 18-23

Deadline: May 22

At Long Beach City College Liberal Arts Campus in Long Beach, Calif.

New England Center for Investigative Reporting’s Summer Investigative Reporting Workshop

At Boston University

Dates: Note: Students move in the Sunday before classes begin.

Session 1: June 26 – July 6

Session 2: July 10 – July 21

Session 3: July 24 – August 4

Deadline: Two weeks prior to the start of each session

Cost: Tuition $2,500, Dorm housing $476, Dining plans $356 for 14 meals, $430 for 19 meals

Registration deadline: June 10 for early-bird rates

Cost: $425 ($450 from June 10-July 10, $480 after July 10)

At Stanford University

Dates: July 2-9

Application deadline: $200 early bird discount for applications submitted by Feb. 1; payment deadline for accepted students is April 1.

Cost: $2,395 for those staying on Stanford’s campus; $1,095 for commuters
