Julie Kuo advises The Blazer, the student-run newspaper at Branson School in Marin County. She is a former Massachusetts JEA state director and previously advised The Musket, the student newspaper of Lexington High School in Lexington, Mass. She holds a B.A. in print journalism from the University of Southern California, M.Ed. in secondary education from Boston College and M.A. in American history and government from Ashland University. She is passionate about reading nonfiction, baking to de-stress and AP Style.
