Susan Sutton, MJE, has been teaching journalism for over two decades at both public and private schools. She advises The Crusader newspaper and The Shield magazine at Archbishop Riordan H.S. in San Francisco, and teaches San Francisco Stories, Journalism, Advanced Journalism, and AP Seminar: Media, Democracy & Journalism. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Francisco State University and a master’s in journalism education from Kent State University. In addition to teaching, she writes a sushi blog and uses the handle SoozKnowzNewz on several social media platforms.
