Describe your work on this piece: This article was incredibly important for our community. Until this, we didn’t know if or when we would return to physical classes. I reported this from my bedroom, writing notes as the superintendent spoke because my phone recorder stopped working. After publication, there was an outpouring of grief from students. I am a senior this year, so writing this piece was difficult. It drove home the fact that I don’t get to finish the year.
