Following the theme “festive,” 23 student photographers submitted images in JEANC’s monthly photo contest for December. Cell phone photos entered in the final installment of this semester-long contest represented five NorCal middle and high school programs taught by adviser members. Judges reviewed 41 entries online after the Dec. 28 submission deadline and first released results on Twitter and Facebook.

December winners include:

First Place: Claire Stanton, Carlmont High School (Justin Raisner, adviser)
Second Place: Amanda Lai, Horner Middle School (Rebecca Snow, adviser)
Third Place: Hadley Buffum, Whitney High School (Sarah Nichols, adviser)
Honorable Mention: Claire Stanton, Carlmont High School (Justin Raisner, adviser)
Honorable Mention: Jessica Wang, Henry M. Gunn High School (Kristy Blackburn, adviser)
