JEANC

Zoom trainings

What is it? A Zoom training is a drop-in session for your staff. A skilled adviser will Zoom with you and your students on an area of journalism where you’d like additional training. The length of these sessions will be determined in consultation with the adviser, publication staff and the JEANC presenter. A staff can request multiple trainings over the course of the year.

How does it benefit me? Your students receive training from experts and have the opportunity to ask questions specific to their school and staff. Plus, there are no travel costs and boarding fees for theses sessions. They are free to all JEANC members.

What does it cost? These trainings are free to all JEANC members.

What are some trainings offered? Training topics include: Illustrator, Photoshop, opinion writing, photography and photo ethics, press law and ethics, establishing an effective workflow, media literacy, social media reporting and video reporting.
