Just like you and your students have been doing since March, we’re taking our talents online.

This year, JEANC is offering a virtual, video awards ceremony on our YouTube channel. The festivities begin at 4 p.m. PST on Thursday, May 28.

During the video, we’ll announce the winners of all our individual awards as well as the Nicholas Ferentinos Memorial Press Freedom Award and our revamped Best of the West contest. We’ll also have some guest speakers and presenters. And if you can’t watch the video right away, we’ll have a link to it on our website, along with a list of winners, after the virtual awards ceremony is over.

We hope the virtual awards ceremony will provide another end-of-the-school-year opportunity for your staffs to connect and celebrate, whether that’s through a Zoom watch party, a video for you to show at your publication banquet or congratulatory social media shout-outs.
