Thirteen student publications in Northern California have a special reason to celebrate as the Columbia Scholastic Press Association recently named them Crown Finalists based on publications from the 2009-2010 school year. Awards will be presented March 18, 2011 at a ceremony during the spring convention at Columbia University in New York, with each of these staffs receiving a Gold or Silver Crown for their work in journalism.
